We are licensed to care for family daycare near bayswater up to 75 children per day, aged from 4 years and upwards. At our early learning centre in Bayswater, our play-based curriculum is guided by the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), supporting children to learn through play, exploration and discovery. Many of our educators have been part of the Goodstart Bayswater North family for many years—some for over two decades. We’re also proud to support emerging educators and trainees, helping them grow in their careers while nurturing their passion for working with children.
We actively engage with families to fully understand their child’s specific needs to provide tailored meal options. Our Educators provide children with opportunities to challenge their learning at an individual and group level. Our outdoor playground boasts a natural like environment where children can explore their surroundings in a safe area.

We develop Individual Learning Plans for each child, reflecting their interests, strengths and developmental goals, and work in partnership with families to review and update each plan over time. Community Kids Bayswater Early Education Centre is operated by G8 Education Limited, which contributes 4% to the total available child care capacity in Victoria. At our indoor play centre in Bayswater we offer everything you’ll need to keep your young ones occupied for hours of stress-free fun.
Supporting families is a big part of my role, and I do this by being present, approachable, and responsive. I take the time to get to know each family, their values, and their needs. Whether it’s easing the transition into care, helping with routines, or connecting families to community resources, I work to build strong, trusting relationships based on open communication and mutual respect.
I aim to create a warm, nurturing and fun learning environment that fosters a love of learning, helping each child reach their full potential. Full-height glass sliding doors bathe the Kinder early learning rooms with sunlight and encourage children to move easily between indoor and outdoor learning opportunities. Children learn best when familiar and secure in their relationships, therefore, to establish the child’s trust and confidence, we encourage all families to visit our service and participate in orientation. We focus on building secure relationships between children and educators, closely following home routines, and supporting each child in meeting their developmental milestones. I began working in early childhood education in 2013, originally joining Great Beginnings Bayswater as a trainee. In 2026, I returned to Great Beginnings Bayswater as Centre Manager, which has been a meaningful full-circle moment in my career. I am deeply passionate about early childhood education and about supporting children in developing a strong foundation and a lifelong love of learning. Over the years, I have learned that every child learns in different ways, and that creating individualised learning experiences is essential to supporting each child’s growth.
When you’re getting ready to start child care, you can help your child overcome anxieties by visiting the child care service together for a Stay and Play session, and easing into new routines at home. We have an annual calendar of events inviting families to participate in various celebrations. Families are welcome throughout the year, and we offer parent-educator meetings on request.

Children participate in additional learning experiences included in the daily program, such as monthly library visits and Mini Monstars music and movement sessions. We foster a learning environment that celebrates diversity, embraces differences, and builds a culture of kindness, empathy, and inclusion. From day one, each child is supported by a Key Educator, helping them develop a secure and trusting relationship, which supports their sense of belonging and emotional well-being. I’ve learned that every child is unique, each with their own learning style. Children can teach us as much as we teach them, making it important to spend time exploring, playing and learning together.
