The room is fully carpeted to the kitchen area, which has vinyl flooring. The architects for the project were AOA Christopher Peck and construction undertaken by Simbuilt. The project was supported with $3.7 million in funding by the Victorian Government, with Council contributing $2.3 million.
The building also includes rooms for Monash's Maternal and Child Health service, and a multipurpose room that will be home to the Oakleigh South Girl Guides and other community groups.
