AMS Music Centre provides flexible, supportive lessons for adult learners. The focus is on personal goals and enjoyment, with formal assessments only included when students specifically request them. At Glen Waverley Primary School we are fortunate to offer a large and vibrant music program. Students learn music from Foundation to Year 6 and have the opportunity to participate in Senior Choir, Junior Choir, String Ensemble, School Band and Drum Ensemble. Amongst these performance opportunities are our Student Recitals, which are usually held during June and November.
This allows parents to see the true benefits of the program, while it gives your child the opportunity to adapt to its important Pre School Music Classes learning structure. Trials only include the in-centre component, and no online information is received. As well as the teaching time, you and your child will be able to experience and learn new activities on our circuit of large equipment.

It lets them discover their own musical paths as musicians that can eventually lead to musical success. Voice lessons at our school primarily focus on popular music, but a variety of genres can be explored including musical theatre, pop, classical, opera or any other genre in your voice lessons. If you have always wanted to be a better rock, classical, pop, country, jazz, gospel or R&B singer, then we have the right voice teacher for you. During the year we have many opportunities for our students to perform, including our performance workshops, masterclasses and concerts.
In spite of all this, I’m not saying that a music school setting is the best for everyone; many do strive to become great musicians through private music lessons. But there are definitely a lot of benefits that music schools can bring that should not be overlooked. We strongly believe that learning and musical exploration should be joyous and engaging for both children and parents alike. We offer classes where your child’s instinctive musical abilities will be fostered and nurtured. Your child will experience both instant and long term positive outcomes through song, voice, beat, rhythm and melodies. They understand age-based child development and will encourage a love of music, beat, rhythm and melody for each child.

The friendly staff and party host made everything a breeze! “We are thrilled that our son is learning Italian in such a unique and clever immersion progamme designed by Minitalia Lab. Alessandra is wonderful, and we love hearing our 3 year old say words in Italian. The first half hour is focused on student assessment; the second half hour is focused on musicianship, ear training, sight-reading, and theory. Our clients enjoy a spacious, professional waiting room with comfortable chairs, kids toys, free Wi-Fi, magazines, water and coffee service.
