3-year-old Kindergarten and 4-year-old Kindergarten are two of the most important, fun and exciting years for both parents and children. With an environment designed for learning and experienced teachers to help guide and assist, children begin to grow from dependence to independence and, as their characters develop, they begin to find their place in the world. Children make friends, develop new interests and parents often find they have a thriving new personality at home eager to try new things and contribute to daily activities. We understand that access to the Government Childcare Subsidy is an important consideration when choosing a childcare centre. Learn more about eligibility, how to access the subsidy and how Sparrow works with your family to ensure a smooth transition into early learning childcare.

Sessional kindergartens normally require children to turn 3 before starting 3-year-old kindergarten (and 4 before starting 4-year-old kindergarten) so depending on age they won’t be eligible for the full year. Through play-based learning, children explore their surroundings, develop confidence, and build social and communication skills. Our program places a strong emphasis on social development and emotional regulation, preparing children for a smooth transition to 4-year-old kindergarten. We prioritise clear and consistent communication with families to foster a strong partnership in supporting each child’s development.
