Anything at 750kg tows on a standard car licence without trailer brakes. Have procured a few Trailers from Trailer Direct, they have always been polite and have delivered exactly what was asked for. Mike was very helpful and made it very easy. Only complaint would be cage door hard to close as bolt was not lined up correctly. But over all very good compared to most looked at. Bruce was great – very knowledgeable and helpful from the time I met him to time of picking up my tailor made trailer. When I collected it, Bruce showed me different hooks and explained how they can be attached to the compartment to make most use of space. We bought a duel axel, caged, hot dipped galvanised, override braked, 8×5 trailer in Dec 2020 (8 months old at the time of this review).It drives straight and tows well.

Trailers Direct is the best trailer company on the coast. The whole proses was so smooth and hassle free. The finish on the trailer is very good. The only hassle I have had is the jockey wheel pins for the handle sometimes don’t line up with the holes.
